About this Role
We are a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our project management team. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive administrative support across construction projects, including document control, record keeping, and material procurement. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of projects by maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting site and office teams. This position is well suited to someone with a strong administrative background and an interest in construction project management. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Pay rate - £17.18/ Hour
Requirements
Previous experience in project administration, document control, purchasing, or a similar administrative role within construction or a related industry is preferred, though not essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, logs, and project documentation.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Good numeracy and literacy skills to support purchasing, budgeting, and general administrative duties.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with on-site attendance as required.
