About this Role

We are a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our project management team. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive administrative support across construction projects, including document control, record keeping, and material procurement. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of projects by maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting site and office teams. This position is well suited to someone with a strong administrative background and an interest in construction project management. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.


Pay rate - £17.18/ Hour

Requirements


  • Previous experience in project administration, document control, purchasing, or a similar administrative role within construction or a related industry is preferred, though not essential.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, logs, and project documentation.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills to support purchasing, budgeting, and general administrative duties.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workload with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with on-site attendance as required.
